Only recorded from the west of Scotland & Ireland, the Sealoch anemone, Protanthia simplex is found in sheltered water such as sea lochs. It will attach to virtually anything from rock to worm tubes and is usually a pink colour with the tentacles a lighter shade or even white. The tentacles do not retract but can readily be shed. Very common in restricted locations.
