Common Starfish - Asterias rubens
As is well known, many starfish can regenerate lost arms. Not only that but a single detached arm, provided it includes a small portion of the central disc area, can regenerate itself and become a complete starfish. In the illustration a section of a common starfish, Asterias rubens, is regenerating three arms.
