Often called Bib or just Pout for short, the Pouting, Trisopterus luscus, is a distinctively marked member of the cod family. They are found all round British coasts but seem to be more frequent in the south. Divers will regularly see them in wrecks, in caves or under rocky overhangs. They are not targeted commercially and although often caught as by-catch, it is one of the few cod species whose population is not currently under threat
