The Stalked Jellyfish, Lucernariopsis campunulata, is found all around the UK but is less frequently encountered in the North Sea. It has eight arms and is always a uniform colour – either red, green or brown. The end of each arm has a wart-like appearance. It reaches a maximum of 5cms across and is very easy to overlook. In my experience, it prefers attaching itself to the fronds of kelp plants
