Guillemots and Razorbills seem to be very inquisitive birds. When diving near the cliffs on which they nest, there will usually be lots of birds resting on the water. Stay still at about three or four metres and wait and they will usualy start a "fly-by", coming down one after the other to give you the once over. Their swimming motion is jerky and they jink and turn erratically, making it a real challenge to frame and focus for a photograph
